Northlake Veterinary Surgery is a three surgeon specialty practice with a primary focus on orthopedic surgery. We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to assist our surgeons and compliment our technical team. We are looking for an individual with a desire for hands on surgery exposure, which includes scrubbing into surgery, monitoring anesthesia, and being a critical part of the operating room responsibilities. Candidate should also be someone who enjoys direct client interaction. Our technicians are responsible for client education as well as patient care. Previous surgical specialty experience is not required.

Our hospital is open Monday through Friday. No emergency hours or boarding. The position is 40 hours of work per week (4 day work week with one week day off) and a rotating Saturday morning 2-3 hour shift (1-2 Saturday shifts per month). We are a drug free workplace.
Benefits include: Ideal 4 day work week schedule. Minimal rotating weekend responsibility. Negotiable hourly wage based on experience/education. After 3 months of employment: Paid vacation, Paid CE, Paid licensing fees, Simple IRA with %match, holiday pay and health benefits (we currently pay 100% of health insurance premiums).
